AWARDS
Solution Tree recognizes schools and districts that follow the PLC at Work® process and significantly increases student achievement by inviting them to apply to become a Model PLC school or district. Model schools and districts focus on the three big ideas – a focus on learning, collaborative culture and collective responsibility, and maintaining a results orientation. PLC Model Schools serve as a testament to the effectiveness of the PLC at Work® process.
The National Forum established criteria that are the basis for the Schools to Watch Program®. The program focuses on school improvement efforts characterized by a continuous trajectory toward success.
LRIS is a part of 600 Schools to Watch in 17 states all focused on serving the social, emotional, and academic needs of each student in culturally relevant and inclusive ways. These exceptional schools continue to improve each year and serve as models and mentors for educators from other schools.
