Math 6

Mrs. Lewis is a dedicated 6th-grade math teacher at Lava Ridge Intermediate School, bringing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her classroom. A fourth-generation native of the St. George/Santa Clara area, she graduated from Dixie High School and later earned degrees from Dixie State University and Western Governors University. With more than 11 years of experience in the Washington County School District, she is now beginning her fifth year teaching math at Lava Ridge, where she cherishes her role in helping students build confidence and develop a love for learning.

Outside of school, Mrs. Lewis is a proud mother of six, with three wonderful daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, three amazing grandchildren, and seven grand-pups. She loves to travel and has explored many incredible destinations. One of her favorite traditions is attending Broadway shows in New York City, and she has seen 17 productions so far. She also enjoys all kinds of water activities, whether boating on lakes, visiting the ocean, or swimming in pools. Mrs. Lewis is excited to partner with students and parents to create a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to grow academically, build confidence, and develop skills that will benefit them throughout life.
